Why host in Australia?

U.S. and Asian hosting is cheaper, with at least one '.au' host we know of physically being U.S. based (Do their clients know?). However, going cheap has a cost:

  • Maxi-share servers (bandwidth issues and resource bog downs)
  • Limited international protections
  • Questionable support
  • Bait-and-switch selling, with surprise necessary add-ons.
